Load Testing

Load Testing 2018-02-16T15:22:42+00:00

Load testing is the procedure of applying load (also referred to as demand) on a website, web server, piece of software, or a web application. Load testing is done to find out how hardware or software performs under certain conditions.

BlazeMeter is a self-service load testing platform, which is fully compatible with Apache JMeter. BlazeMeter provides an enterprise grade, ‘out-of-the-box’ load testing solution for the developer community.

BlazeMeter provides developers with tools for a simple integration into their native development environment by providing mobile, web application, website, web-service or database testing that can simulate thousands of users visiting a website simultaneously using the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) service. Users can run multiple load tests in order to locate and fix performance bottlenecks.

BlazeMeter can be integrated JMeter, Drupal and Jenkins CI for load testing.

The Apache JMeter desktop application is open source software, a 100% pure Java application designed to load test functional behavior and measure performance. It was originally designed for testing Web Applications but has since expanded to other test functions. Apache JMeter may be used to test performance both on static and dynamic resources (Files, Web dynamic languages – PHP, Java, ASP.NET, etc. -, Java Objects, Data Bases and Queries, FTP Servers and more). It can be used to simulate a heavy load on a server, group of servers, network or object to test its strength or to analyze overall performance under different load types. You can use it to make a graphical analysis of performance or to test your server/script/object behavior under heavy concurrent load.
